There’s a lot of gospels going around
Various doctrines all over town
How do you know if you’ve have the right one
It seems to me there’s a thousand and one
Some speak of Jesus
Some speak of strife
Some teach you how
To get ahead in life
It seems they all ask for money
And they all feed the poor
They claim they all have the truth
So what’s really the score

What he had done
Any why he had died

So you might believe

So if you have a choice
I’d listen to him
You know he knew Jesus
In a personal way
He met him on a journey
To Damascus one day
Jesus told Paul
A chosen vessel was he
To speak to us Gentiles
So we would believe
So if you have the time
Check around town
If it’s not what Paul preached
