WITH A CHILD’S EYES
Until every stone is in its place
The Temple’s not complete
We’re many stones of many colors
But we’re not here to compete.
We’re here to compliment the King
In every thing we say and do
A unity throughout the house
Bringing Glory–Lord–to You.
Gemstones of many colors
From many nations–tongues–and creeds
That sparkle in the Love of God
What a Blinding Light is He.
Blind now to racial barriers
Blind now to hate and strife
We’re learning to live together
As we’re walking in the Light.
Oh!–The Glory and The Splendor
Of the King–“It’s Moving In”
As we embrace each other
In innocence again.
Innocence we had as children
But was lost as we grew men
I can hear the Holy Spirit–say
I’m restoring it again.
Come unto Me–My children
Gather closely around Me
With a Child’s Eyes of Innocence
Behold Now–All My Glory.
Ah! Yes indeed–just like I planned
A people–In Me–Free
A Dwelling Place–My Habitat
For all Eternity.
