Wind of the Spirit

The Wind of the Spirit

As the wind and the breezes
Blow through the earth
They scatter seeds
That bring about birth

Likewise My Spirit
Scatters My Word
Sometimes so gentle
It’s hard to be heard

But then there are moments
When I send it forth
Like a mighty wind
With power and force

My Spirit’s all knowing
My Spirit’s all wise
So I send a strong wind
If the breeze you pass by

Listen to the whisper
Of a summer breeze
So soft and so gentle
That’s how I call thee

But what if I come
And you don’t answer My Call
With wisdom I’ll come
To you like in Fall

Greatly increasing
The force of the breeze
To catch your attention
To call you to Me

Warning of winter
And coldness of heart
Drawing you closer
My Love to impart

As I blow upon you
Like warm winds in Spring
I usher out death
And New Life I bring

Just where the wind comes from
On whom shall it blow
Tis My Spirit’s secret
But blow — It shall blow
