Oh My child–can you not see
All the love I have for you
If you drained all the oceans and the rivers
Compared to My love–they’d be but a pool.
For you see–it’s you I’ve chosen
And you see–I am no fool
Never in a billion years
Will I outgrow My love for you.
Eternity’s–not space and time
But a place inside My heart
Where love’s so strong–all fear is gone
And in that place you have a part.
Take confidence–take confidence
Take confidence in Me
Have I not said–”I love you so!”
Take confidence in Me.
Let not your soul be troubled
When you feel mental distress
It surely gathers–not by Me
For I give–to thy soul–rest.
Rest from condemnation
Rest from fear and doubt
Rest from all the things that trouble you
So you can–praise and dance and shout.
Rest–so be not weary
Rest and comfort to thy soul
Anchor now your emotions
To the truths–to you–I’ve told.
Live each day–to know Me more
Count Me now–as your best Friend
You’ll find your joy unstoppable
Because you see–that’s what I am.
