“God’s Smorgasbord”
There are two tables –spread before me
I can choose – from which to eat
So I’ll choose the one – that’s labeled Life
It’s full of precious meat.
The other tables – labeled Death
It is not from God – you see
There are plates of Strife, Anger, Division
And – much worse things – do I see.
I’m feasting now on Heaven’s best
You’re – “What You Eat” – you see
So I’m eating Grace and Mercy
And those words – are part of me.
Indulging in my favorite foods
God’s Grace and Love and Care
His Manifested Presence
I’m beginning now to wear.
The other clothes – I used to wear
Were getting awfully tight
Hell was bursting at the seams
As in Doubt – I did delight.
It’s really quite amazing
So simple a child can see
He’s set before us –Death and Life
Blessing – or – Misery
Choose Life My Friend – Indulge A Bit
Take an extra plate or two
So you can share – Mercy and Grace
With others around you.
God’s Smorgasbord from Heaven
Words of Love, Comfort and Peace
A Full Redemption – Found In Christ
Served at The Wedding Feast
